We had our 4 1/2 month ultrasound today and it was amazing!!! The ultrasound technician said we have a VERY active baby! The baby was in every possible position during the short time of our ultrasound, and it kept the tech on her toes. At on point Baby Mays was even standing on its head. For those of you who know baby Mays' daddy, you would agree this inability to sit still most likely comes from him :) Our favorite part of the ultrasound was when the baby flexed its tiny bicep at us and then proceed to start punching me in the stomach, we have it on tape and it is hilarious!! Both the doctor and the ultrasound tech told us everything looked great. The heart beat was 139 and healthy! This was a great day and very reassuring to hear that all things are developing as they should be!
Our June 30th due date is now in question. According to the first day of my LMP our due date is June 30th, but the ultrasound had predicted it to be one week later, July 7th. Dr. Soper said that normally if the ultrasound is with in one week of the first day of the LMP date they go with the LMP date. If the ultrasound is greater than one week from the LMP they go with the ultrasound date. Dr. Soper did not know what to tell us since they differ by exactly one week! She said that most first babies come late so she would not be surprised if we delivered closer to July 7th. Who knows maybe we will deliver on the 4th and have ourselves a little Yankee Doodle Dandy!

Taylor got a kick out of the ultrasound picture. Uncle Jay says it's a girl and likes the name Madeline Mays (Maddie). That sounds like a softball player doesn't it.

I like Maddie Mays also, but Grandma Lois doesn't :( We are thinking Emma Lee-Ann for a girl and either Cash Michael or Tucker Matthew for a boy.
